State poll number seven is out today and the eight Section Five teams made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Fairport remains in #2 and Thomas moves up from #9 to #8. Pittsford remains on the Honorable Mention list in Class A.

In Class B, Irondequoit moves up from the #5 to #4 and Canandaigua moves from #6 to #5 while Brighton remains on the Honorable Mention list.

In Class C, Penn Yan moves down from fourth place to #5 and Aquinas moves up from #9 to #8.

The top spots in week seven go to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Corning East (Section 4) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
