Senior defenseman Justin Sales recently announced his decision to continue to play lacrosse while at Mercyhurst University (Erie Pennsylvania) and after a final year at Irondequoit.

In both his sophomore and junior years he received defensive honorable mentions from the Monroe County Division II coaches.

Last summer he played in the Brine National All-American Classic. He also played for the Sweetlax Club in the Sweetlax Invitational, and Uncommitted Showcase, the Legacy and the Liberty Bell tournaments.

Mercyhurst University Head Coach, Chris Ryan is an Irondequoit alumnus and the Laker`s roster is full of former Section Five players including Derek Richards (Hilton), Greg Weyl (Pittsford), Kevin Vaughn (Fairport), Jared Cook (McQuaid), Stephen Romas (Pittsford), Cory Mason (Victor) and Ben Brooks, Connor Enright, and Shane Endres all from Irondequoit.
