Daniel Harris. a long stick midfielder from Irondequoit has recently announced his decision to study and play lacrosse at Queen`s University of Charlotte (North Carolina).

An off-season player with the sweetlax Lacrosse Club, Dan played in the Sweetlax Invitational and Uncommitted Showcase along with the Legacy and Liberty Bell tournaments last summer.

The Queen's University Royals are an NCAA Division II team playing in the South Atlantic Conference under Head Coach Jim Fritz. This summer, Coach Fritz hired James Purpura as an assistant coach. Purpura, who played for Pittsford and finished his career there with 111g-57a, played at Mount Saint Mary`s University and then SUNY Geneseo.
