End of the 2005 Season

We saw visitors from all over the world as well as the upstate area and from more than 50,000 servers world-wide. Enjoy your summer and remember that the wins that come in the spring are earned by practice and planning during the off season. |

Players of the Year![]() Kyle Jensen of Penn Yan has been named Sportsman of the Year, Dan Groot of Canandaigua was named for offense and Brian Dell of Penfield for defense. Senior Games The Rochester Chapter of US Lacrosse is sponsoring the "Senior Games" for both boys and for Girls this spring and has announced the dates and locations. |

New York State Brackets May 29, 2005 - The finals have now been completed and the Champions determined. In Class A it is, once again, West Genesee, winning 15-2 over Niskayuna. Huntington of Section 11 was the Class B Champion after beating JD 14-3. In Class C if was Lafayette with the 10-9 win over Manhasset of Section 8. The complete 2005 State brackets are here. |

League Recognition for 2005 May 23, 2005 - The annual All League lists are in for the Finger Lakes and GRALL and we expect that Monroe County will be soon to follow. The Finger Lakes coaches recently announced the list of all stars for 2005 that includes Canandaigua midfielder Dan Groot and Penn Yan Attackman, Jon Van Houten who were named to the All America team. Canandaigua senior attackman, Chris Mulheron was name an Academic All American. The Greater Rochester Area Lacrosse League (GRALL) coaches announced their list of all stars for 2005. This is the second year for the league and for its list of exceptional players. Aquinas goalie, Jason LaShomb and Haverling defenseman Alex Durham were named GRALL 2005 Co-Players of the Year and LaShomb was also named an Academic All American. The County coaches announced the list of all stars for 2005. Pittsford attackman Jake Boyce, Penfield midfielder Mike Thon and Webster Schroeder midfielder Mike Catalino were named to the All America team. Brighton senior attackman James Ryan was named Academic All American. |
