The fourth New York State Sportswriters Association Poll is out and Section Five has ten teams on the list.
  
Fairport remains on top of Class A teams in Section Five, this week in #4, while, West Islip tops the list in NYS as Genney lost last week. Penfield and Schroeder also make the Class A list. In Class B, the list has Geneva as an Honorable Mention and Huntington (Section 11) remains tops in NYS. In Class C, Penn Yan tops the list of Section Five teams and remains in the #2 spot in NYS right behind Manhasset .
