The lacrosse community was saddened to learn of the tragic loss of Webster midfielder, Leo Fox, who died in a car accident today. Leo and Adrienne Grishaber who were both 17, died when the car, driven by Leo, hit a utility pole on Hard Road in Webster.

Varsity Lacrosse Coach Fritz Kilian described Leo as a hard worker both on and off the field. He told local Democrat and Chronicle reporters "He was outstanding on defense. We always had him guard the other team's top offensive midfielder."

Both teenagers had just started their senior year. Leo was looking forward to both Wrestling and Lacrosse season, and Adrienne played both Volleyball and Softball for the Webster Warriors.

They will be missed.
