Dylan Joy Commits to Vermont
Gananda sophomore long stick middie/ defenseman, Dylan Joy announced today that he has made a verbal commitment to Head Coach Ryan Curtis to become a Catamount in the fall of 2016.
Joy started playing with the Gananda Varsity in his eight grade year and as a defenseman and LSM has accumulated 2g-5a in his first two years.
Off season in 2012 he was selected for the New York UpState Rochester Brine Middle School National All Star team and played in the National Invitational Select 175 tournament.
Playing club lacrosse for SweetLax he had a busy off-season, playing in the UpLax Annapolis tournament, the UMass Fall Classic and Maverik Showtime. He also played in the King of the Hill, Crabfest, Best of the Best and NXT tournaments. In the fall he played at the Harvard Crimson Classic, Quakerfest and the Jake Reed Blue Chip tournament.
Before choosing Vermont he considered Hobart, St. Johns, Mount St. Mary and Canisius.
