Saturday: Last Two Vacation Games

Fairport traveled to Ithaca where the Little Red, ranked #5 in lat week's NYS poll, defeated the Red Raiders 9-4. Meanwhile, the Penfield Patriots beat the Binghamton Patriots 12-5 in Penfield. Alex Miles led the offense with 5g-1a.

  --  Penfield defeated Binghamton (Section VI) 12-5 this afternoon in Penfield. The Penfield Patriots scored the first nine goals before Binghamton Patriots started their scoring. Binghamton started a Binghamton at Penfieldsmall comeback in the third quarter, scoring four of their goals unanswered in the span of eight minutes.

There were thirteen penalties assessed in the game (8 against Binghamton and 5 against Penfield) and six man up goals scored (2 for Binghamton and 4 four Penfield).

Penfield had ten different players make the score book. Six players had one goal or one assist. Leading the charge for Penfield was Alex Miles with 5g-1a. Attackman Matt Springer finished with 2g-1a and Matt Bilak had 2a. In the cage, Keith Keehn finished with seven saves.
