Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: With three games on the last Wednesday, Brighton (8-7) beat HF-L (11-5) in a Monroe County Cross-Over game at Brighton. Brady McDermott scored 6g-1a and Owen Ronchetti added 3g for the Barons while goalie Caleb Green made 13 saves (59%).

Penn Yan used six goals in the first quarter on their way to a victory over Marcus Whitman. Conner Fingar led the Mustang offense with 5g-3a and Austin Blumbergs added 3g-3a.

Fairport (11-4) took off in the third quarter after a 3-1 half and coasted to a 10-4 win over Orchard Park (9-6) of section 6. Spencer Bell scored 3g-1a and Klay Stuver added 3g for the Red Raiders who will finish their season on Friday when they play Corning. Tim Defendis made 9 saves for the Fairport (82%).
