May 10, 2025 — Gananda secured a win in a non-league matchup against Batavia-Notre Dame, finishing with a score of twenty-one to two. Nine different players contributed goals for Gananda, led by Jase Smith and Mason Groh, who each scored five times. Brody Daciw added four goals, while Alex Galka recorded one goal and three assists. Junior goalie Nick Falso made five saves, finishing with an eighty-three percent save percentage. He also scored his first Varisty goal as did Senior defenseman Hunter Walker.
Batavia-Notre Dame's scoring came from Jeremiah Childs and Harold Mellander, with Jon Smith assisting on one goal.
