2017-04-23 - In their second consecutive match against Section Five teams, Brother Rice defeated Victor 10-9. The Warriors lost to Canandaigua last night 8-7 (HERE).  After a third quarter where the Blue Devils failed to take a single shot, the Warriors fought back from a four goal deficit to tie the game at 7-7.  They continued their scoring into the fourth quarter to lead by two with 2:30 left in the fourth quarter.

Brother Rice scored the first two goals of the contest within five minutes.  Victor quickly responded with the next six goals spanning into the second quarter.  With 8:33 remaining in the second quarter the Blue Devils led 6-2.  

Leading in scoring for Victor were Andrew Russell (4g) and Zach Estabrooks (3g).  Tucker Hill finished 9/16 at the draw and defenseman Matt Gardner led with five ground balls.
