May 12, 2016 — SPORTSFIVE REPORT: Thomas led for the majority of the game in their 12-10 win over Irondequoit. The Titans only trailed twice and only by a single goal both times. Although they led for most of the game, Irondequoit never trailed by more than three and was often within a single goal.
Trevor Carney and Dan Doktor were the big scorers for the Eagles with four goals each. Travis Ford and Trevor Ford also scored four goals each for the Titans. 16 of the 22 goals in the game were scored by four players. Carney scored the opening goal for the Eagles to take their first of two leads. Thomas retaliated with four goals of their own to take a three goals lead (their first of 3 three goals leads). Carney scored again for the Eagles and Nick Mabe scored his first of two for the Titans to end the first quarter. Thomas led 5-2 after 12 minutes.
In the second and third quarters, Irondequoit played closer and cut the Titan lead. The Eagles scored three and held the Titans to only one in the second quarter.
