Dunham Carries Geneva to Finals

2026-05-28 - WAYNE-5 at GENEVA-6 - Geneva survived a tight Class C semifinal with a 6-5 win over Wayne on Wednesday, improving to 13-5. Ryland Dunham was the engine with four goals, and Jack Dunham and Jacob D'Amico each added one. Wayne rallied with three goals in the fourth quarter to make it a one-goal game, but Geneva held on. No goalie statistics were reported for Geneva.

For Wayne, Cody Crandell led with two goals and Shane Coleman and Tucker Eaton each added one goal and an assist. Freshman Gavin Hamel was strong in net with 13 saves at 68%. Wayne finishes 11-6.
