The Class A seeds fell as predicted, with Fairport, R-H, Penfield and Pittsford all winning and the Class C did the same with Aquinas, Bloomfield-Honeoye, Penn Yan and Geneva all winning as well. R-H played a close game with Webster Schroeder and had a five goal streak in the last nine minutes for the 12-9 win.

The Mustangs won the last out bracket game in the tournaments with their win against Bishop Kearney 22-1 tonight in Penn Yan.

In the sole high school lacrosse game of the night in Section Five, the Frontier Falcons representing Section Six (Buffalo) traveled to Penn Yan to take on the Mustangs in an intersectional match up.

It was a busy night for SportsFive as there were 16 games held under mostly rainy skies today in Section Five. Fairport was able to beat Irondequoit 10-6 at home.
