# 2909  Penfield Wins Seconds OT Straight

In the only break of the night, fifth seeded Penfield defeated 4^th seeded Greece Storm in overtime 10-9.  The Patriots took off in the first half and led by six at one point before Greece fought back to a pair of ties in the fourth quarter.  Although the Storm did not ever take the lead, they sent the game into overtime with a goal at 0:21 remaining in regulation.  Senior midfielder Max Hoadley scored the game winning goal on the first shot of overtime to secure the win for the Patriots.

# 2897  Greece Holds Off Late HFL Push with OT Win

Greece Storm fought off the late push by HFL to defeat the Cougars 10-9 in the first overtime period.  Greece led by four with ten minutes left in regulation.  HFL scored four goals to force overtime.  However, Matthew McHale scored for the Storm with 0:54 left in the first overtime period.  The Storm controlled the entire game, and although HFL tied the game twice (1-1 and 9-9), Greece never trailed.  They also held a four goal lead at three different points before HFL’s late stretch forced overtime.

# 2810  Greece Storm Scores Five Straight in Win over C-C

Greece Storm scored five unanswered goals spanning the second and third quarters in their 8-5 win over Churchville-Chili. The Storm held the Saints scoreless for over 23 minutes in the contest.  They also spread out their offense with six players making the offensive book.  Jacob Holdaway led in scoring with 3 goals, including the last two.  Churchville-Chili had each of their five goals scored by a different athlete.

# 1418  Penfield Advances to Finals

In the second game of the Class A double-header second seeded Penfield defeated third seeded Greece Storm 13-5 to move on the Semi-Finals.  The Patriots will move on to face top seeded Fairport at St. John Fisher College on Tuesday.  This is the first time Penfield has made the Finals since 2015.  The last time that Penfield won the big game was 2013.
