Proving how close the Class A teams are this year, Schroeder beat Irondequoit in a close game (6-5). Rush-Henrietta was an 11-7 winner over Churchville-Chili. Livonia beat Aquinas, Brighton beat Gates in OT, Penn Yan beat Amherst and Fairport beat Orchard Park. Other winners included Eastridge, Penfield, Hilton, Pittsford and Newark.

In a preview of a possible final four Class A game, Canandaigua was a winner over Webster Schroeder 9-7 at McAvoy. Thomas was a 15-7 winner over Brighton and Irondequoit took a 12-6 win over HFL.

In the only game on Friday, Brighton won their game with Livonia in overtime 6-5. The Barons scored the first and only two goals in the first quarter and the Bulldogs came back with two unanswered goals in the second quarter to start the halftime break with a 2-2 tie.
