Finally, there were a number of close games played in the section today. Victor held off a last minute attack by Irondequoit to hold on to a 7-6 win. Hilton beat the Lightning 8-6, McQuaid came back hard to beat Livonia 14-13 in overtime.

# 1064  Lancers Take Thunder

Greece Athena/Odyssey scored the first four goals of the contest but then was held scoreless for over thirty minutes. Eastridge scored nine goals before the Thunder scored again and won 11-6. Freshman attackman Andrew Doktor and junior midfielder Anthony Suero both finished with four goals to lead the offense efforts of the Lancers.

Eastridge scored the last two goals of the contest to secure an 8-7 win over Greece Arcadia/Olympia. Overall the contest was an even match with both teams having opportunities to secure the victory. Freshman attackman Donovan Fagan assisted Andrew Doktor for the final goal of the contest for the Lancer win. Fagan finished with 1g-2a in only his second game on Varsity.

# 818  Brockport Over Eastridge 12-9

After outscoring Eastridge 6-3 in the second half, Brockport defeated the Lancers 12-9. This was the first win for the Blue Devils over the Lancers since April 2013. The game was high scoring with both teams scoring on over 30% of their total shots. The majority of the scoring came from three players.

Although the final score was close, Livonia scored the opening goal and never trailed in their 8-7 win over Eastridge. The Bulldogs led 6-2 at halftime and 7-3 before Eastridge scored three unanswered goals to bring the game within a single goal with 6:11 remaining.
