Batavia set school records for most goals scored as well as fewest goals allowed in a single game in their 20-4 win over the Greece Lightning. McQuaid Jesuit won a GRALL victory with an 8-7 win over Livonia. Penfield defeated Churchville-Chili 12-9 and Fairport took Pittsford 10-4. Other winners included Canandaigua, Brighton, Midlakes, Brockport, Pal-Mac and Hilton.

Brighton, Section V's last undefeated team, fell to a stoked up team from McQuaid Jesuit who won 9-6. Fairport defeated the strong Section III teams from Jamesville-DeWitt and Penfield beat West Seneca East (Section VI).

The first battle for ranking in Class A was settled this afternoon when Fairport (6-1) knocked off Thomas (5-1) 12-7 at Webster. In the other game played today, Batavia beat Each Rochester 11-10 in overtime. Junior attackman Will Mulcahy scored the game winner for the Blue Devils.

It was another raw and wet day for games today. The HFL-Hamburg game was postponed (no date yet), but Fairport beat visiting Niagara Wheatfield (Section 6), Penn Yan beat Webster Schroeder, Midlakes beat Waterloo and Aquinas beat Pittsford in the games that did take place.
