RIT Takes on Tufts in Semi Finals - Right Here On Sunday
RIT Head Coach Jake Coon, sent along this message for the Section Five Lacrosse Community:
"With our own busy lacrosse schedules, it's easy to over-look the fact that we have the No. 1 Team in Division III Men's Lacrosse right in our own backyard. This weekend, the No. 1 RIT men's lacrosse team (20-0) will face No. 6 Tufts University (19-2) in the semi-finals of the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at Tiger Stadium. Ticket prices for Sunday's game are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and $1 for children and will be available at Tiger Stadium on the campus of RIT. The winner advances to the National Championship Game on Sunday, May 25 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md."
"One of the best ways for our kids to develop an appreciation and understanding of the game is to take advantage of opportunities to attend games of this magnitude, in a great collegiate atmosphere, with a chance to play for a National Championship on the line. It would be great to have a strong presence out at RIT this Sunday to show our support for a hometown team!"
