FAIRPORT-6 at PENFIELD-8  - Penfield advanced to the Section V Class A final with an 8-6 semifinal win over Fairport on Wednesday, improving to 13-4. Junior Griffin Banister led the offense with three goals and an assist, and Brodie Joyce and Jake Maurer each added two goals and an assist. Mason Schembri made 10 saves in net at 63%, and Colin Miller won 13 of 18 faceoffs.

For Fairport, Grant Ralston led with two goals and an assist, and Jack Gosiewski, Carter Mitchell, Marco Provenzano, and Marc Hillier each scored one. Luke Temple made 11 saves at 58% in a strong effort in net.
