Hathway's Four Goals Pace Penn Yan

HAMBURG-7 at PENN YAN-15  - Penn Yan beat Hamburg 15-7 Saturday morning in a non-league game, extending its winning streak to seven and moving to 10-3. Junior defenseman Carter MacKerchar scored his first career varsity goal, finishing with two goals and an assist. No stats were available for Hamburg at post-time.

Sophomore Greyson Hathway led Penn Yan with four goals, going 16 for 21 on faceoffs as well. Senior Braden Fingar and senior Collin Bacher each added three goals and two assists and one assist respectively. MacKerchar chipped in two goals and an assist in his milestone game, and Miles Ditzell added one goal and two assists. Tukker Fisher and Brody Keech each scored one goal. In goal, sophomore Wilson Oliva made nine saves on 16 shots (56%) over 48 minutes.

Penn Yan travels to Watkins Glen on Thursday.
