Herendeen leads Victor with 4g-1a

VICTOR-14 at THOMAS-8 - Victor beat Thomas 14-8 Tuesday evening in a Monroe County D-2 game, moving to 10-2. The Blue Devils led 5-3 after the first quarter and held the lead throughout, with junior Will Simpson reaching 300 career saves in the win. No report was available from Thomas, but the scoring log shows five different Titans finding the net.

Junior Matthew Herendeen led Victor with four goals and an assist, while Jackson Mead added three goals and three assists. Senior Gage Hay chipped in three goals, Will Johnson contributed one goal and three assists, and Colin Wheeler and Lincoln Snyder each added one goal and one assist. Sophomore Eli Ricci went 21 for 26 on faceoffs.

For Thomas, junior Lucas Nuccotelli scored five goals, senior Charlie Repman added one goal, and Aiden Pashalidis and Lucas Estelle each scored one. Jake Nicolay contributed two assists and Nuccotelli added one.

Victor hosts Fairport on Thursday while Thomas travels to Churchville-Chili.
