GENEVA-8 at LIVONIA-AVON-GENESEO-6  - Geneva beat Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 8-6 Thursday evening, moving to 8-2. L-A-G led 6-0 before Geneva scored all eight of its goals to close out the win. Will Schweitzer reached 100 career points in the game, and junior Logan Presler recorded his first career varsity assist.

Senior Ryland Dunham led Geneva with four goals and an assist, while junior Jack Dunham added two goals and four assists. Liam Kivimaki and Ben Budgar each added one goal, with eighth grader Dominic Gaglianese chipping in an assist. In goal, Owen Marquart made six saves on 12 shots (50%) over 48 minutes.

For L-A-G, eighth grader Owen Schweitzer and junior Rider VanZandt each scored two goals, with Owen adding an assist. Sophomore Will Schweitzer contributed one goal and two assists, and junior Ronan Class added one goal. Logan Presler recorded his first career varsity assist. VanZandt went 10 for 17 on faceoffs. In goal, senior Ayden Szymanski made 12 saves on 20 shots (60%) over 48 minutes. L-A-G falls to 8-2.

Geneva hosts Mynderse-Romulus on Saturday morning. L-A-G travels to Honeoye Falls-Lima on Saturday evening.
