Thomas Wins Ninth Straight Over Hamburg
HAMBURG-7 at THOMAS-14 - Thomas topped Hamburg 14-7 on Friday night in a non-league, out-of-section game, extending its winning streak against the Bulldogs to nine in a row. The win moves Thomas to 6-4 on the season, while Hamburg falls to 3-4.
Junior midfielder Lucas Nuccotelli led Thomas with four goals, while senior attackman Charlie Repman added three. Sophomore midfielder Jake Nicolay contributed one goal and five assists, and midfielder Lucas Estelle chipped in two goals and one assist. Single goals came from Blake Jipson, Aiden Pashalidis, Carter Chase and Jonah Jobson. In goal, sophomore Eli Van Schaffel went 5 saves on nine shots (56%) in 12 minutes, and senior Joshua Jobson handled the remaining 36 minutes with six saves on nine shots (67%).
