Brandon Dennie's Three Goals Lead Pal-Mac
MIDLAKES-2 at PAL-MAC-17 - Pal-Mac picked up a 17-2 non-league win over Midlakes on Tuesday evening at home, scoring five goals in each of the first two quarters to build a comfortable lead. Ten different players scored for the Red Raiders, who extend their winning streak against Midlakes to 14 straight in a series that now stands at 18-9.
For Pal-Mac (6-2), senior Brandon Dennie led with three goals and two assists, while junior Jackson Dennie added two goals and two assists and senior Jacob Naugle contributed two goals and one assist. Sophomore Max Hill, sophomore Max Halsey, and junior Reid Diehl each chipped in two goals. Senior Mason Delmarle scored his first varsity goal. Sophomore Mason Stalker went 18-for-21 at the faceoff dot (86%). Junior Drew Ikewood stopped three shots for a 75% save percentage in 36 minutes.
For Midlakes (1-3), junior James Sprague led with two goals and junior Carter Casper added one assist. Senior Stuart Quku stopped 15 shots for a 50% save percentage in 36 minutes.
