Trumble's Five Points Lead Fairport Past Pal-Mac

FAIRPORT-10 at PAL-MAC-8 - Fairport picked up its first win of the season with a 10-8 non-league victory at Pal-Mac on Wednesday evening, overcoming a slow start after being held scoreless in the first quarter. The Red Raiders outscored Pal-Mac 8-5 over the final three quarters to pull away.

For Fairport (1-3), freshman CJ Trumble led with two goals and three assists, while sophomore Grant Ralston added three goals. Sophomore Marco Provenzano contributed two goals, and senior Ryan Priddy chipped in one goal and one assist. Junior Carter Mitchell added one goal and one assist, recording his first varsity assist in the process. Senior Corey Roeser went 12-for-15 at the faceoff dot (80%) and senior Ryan Knapp went four-for-four (100%).

No statistical report was available from Pal-Mac (2-1) at post-time.
