Pittsford Earns Victory Against Thomas

In a non-league game held at Sutherland, Pittsford defeated Thomas with a final score of 13-9. Senior midfielder Avery Valenti led the scoring for Pittsford with three goals and one assist, while senior attackman Brady Goetz contributed one goal and three assists, reaching his 50th career assist milestone. Juniors Jack Healy and Charlie Ryan, along with senior Jahyden Maiorani, each added two goals, while senior defenseman Keegan Ahern and junior Peter Roussell each scored their first Varsity goals. Roussell also excelled in faceoffs, winning 15 out of 24, achieving his 200th career win. Goalie Bear Wehrheim made seven saves in forty-seven minutes of play.

Thomas put up a strong effort with contributions from Brett Mersdorf and Lucas Estelle, who each scored two goals and added one assist. Brandon Trottier also scored two goals, while Lucas Nuccotelli and Jonah Jobson each contributed a goal and an assist. Despite the efforts of goalie Joshua Jobson, who made eight saves in forty-eight minutes, Pittsford's offense proved too difficult to contain.

Pittsford improved to a 2-0 record and will face Spencerport on Wednesday, April 9, while Thomas, now 2-1, will host Churchville-Chili on the same day.   [ Story and BOX SCORE
