There were thirty-eight games played last week. There are seventy-three out of section games scheduled and 12 have been played. Section V teams have won 10 and lost 2 (83%). There are eleven undefeated teams at this point.

Looking Back
What a week of exciting lacrosse action! It all kicked off on Monday with three commanding victories: Aquinas dominated Haverling, McQuaid Jesuit outplayed St. Francis, and Livonia-Avon-Geneseo took down Gananda in a Finger League matchup.
Tuesday brought a flurry of games, with 11 matchups showcasing five nail-biters. Notable close wins included Irondequoit’s 8-7 edge over Brighton, Schroeder’s 7-6 triumph against Wayne, and Hilton’s 8-6 victory over Penfield. Geneva narrowly defeated Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 8-7, while Gates Chili eked out a 5-4 win against Brockport.
Wednesday featured seven games, with Bloomfield-Honeoye shining in their 12-6 win over Brockport. Brayden Arber (5 goals) and John Blair (3 goals) led their offense. Unfortunately, the Marcus Whitman vs. Gananda game was postponed.
Thursday celebrated standout Players of the Week: Jase Smith (Gananda), Blake Jipson (Thomas), and Jack Rawleigh. Among the eight games played, Schroeder edged Geneva 6-5, and Hilton secured a thrilling 9-8 win over Irondequoit.
Friday offered more thrills, including Marcus Whitman’s dominant 16-7 victory over Gananda, led by Tariku Blueye’s seven goals and six assists. Penn Yan pulled off a triple-overtime thriller, defeating Homer 11-10, thanks to Teagan Fingar’s six goals and key assist. Mynderse-Romulus crushed Waterloo 14-5, fueled by Griffin Hilimire’s six goals and four assists. Midlakes celebrated their season opener with a 14-7 win against Jordan Elbridge, supported by Stuart Quku’s 12 saves.
The week wrapped up on Saturday with 11 games, including four close contests. Greece Storm edged Wayne 5-4, Gananda defeated East United-Eastridge 11-9, Pal-Mac emerged victorious over Schroeder 7-6 in overtime, and Geneva outlasted Auburn 9-8.
Looking Ahead
The action continues this week with games scheduled every day. Monday features nine matchups, including Penfield at Fairport, Greece at Hilton, and Thomas at Pittsford. McQuaid Jesuit's trip to Orchard Park could bring intriguing results.
Tuesday offers six games, including Corning at Aquinas and HFL at Livonia. On Wednesday, highlights include Gananda at Mynderse and Canandaigua at Victor, while Churchville-Chili travels to Thomas, and Spencerport visits Pittsford.
Thursday packs in nine games, such as Marcus Whitman at Bloomfield-Honeoye, Batavia-Notre Dame at Gates Chili, and Hilton at Schroeder.
Friday will see R-H at Horseheads and Marcus Whitman at HFL. To cap off the week, Saturday promises nine exciting matchups. Among the highlights are Geneva at Penn Yan, East United-Eastridge at Bloomfield-Honeoye, and Pittsford at McQuaid Jesuit.
