The game remained competitive throughout, with the teams tied 1-1 at the end of both the first and second quarters. Gates Chili pulled ahead in the third quarter, outscoring Brockport 2-1, and both teams netted a single goal in the final quarter.

Junior Jayden Maryjanowski led Gates Chili with two goals and one assist, while Callaway Phommachanh contributed a goal and an assist as well. Chandler Vogel scored his first Varsity goal, with Joshua Yakowitz adding a goal and Bennett Miley providing one assist. Goalie Demar Williams stood strong with 11 saves and a 73% save rate in 48 minutes of play.
