Thursday: CA comes from Behind for Win
DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - Canandaigua came from behind and won their game with Irondequoit by a single goal. Waterloo scored three goals in the third to help win their 6-5 game with Midlakes-Red Jacket. Hilton on a winning streak took out Fairport 9-4, and Penn Yan fought off a charge by Geneva in their 7-5 win at home.
FAIRPORT-4 at HILTON-9 - The Cadets scored the first two goals and never lost the lead as they saw three goals and 2 assists from senior midfielder Aiden Cawley. Hilton Led 5-2 at the half and 6-4 after three quarters. Leading the scoring for Hilton (4-2) were Cawley (3g-2a), Chase Wilson (3g), and Colton Thorp (2a). Facing off for Hilton was Michael Mitrano with 7+/2- = 78%, and Drew O`Buck with 5+/2- = 71%. In the goal for Hilton was Jason Mosher with 14s/4ga = 78% (48 mins). Fairport is at Hamburg on Saturday.

HFL-9 at GREECE STORM-5 - The Cougars maintained their undefeated status with a 9-5 win at Greece tonight. After a 2-1 first quarter they led 5-2 at the half. Still in it in the third quarter the Storm god at close as 6-4 after three quarters but HF-L scored three more in the last stanza. Scoring for HF-L (4-0) were Chase Perryman (4g-1a), Quinn Kailbourne (1g-1a), Mathew Brassie (2g), Drew Angelo(1g), and senior defenseman Donnell Hall (1a). After taking a 3-0 first quarter lead, the Braves scored two more to go into the break up 4-2. The Eagle defense held CA scoreless in the third while scoring two of their own making it 4-4 after three quarters. Sophomore attackman Drew Williamee scored two of his three goals in the fourth quarter moving the Braves into the lead. Braden Gioseffi added one more for Canandaigua, before Aidan Greco scored one more for the Eagles at 0:36.
