Tuesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Geneva won their second back to back Class C Championship tonight against Wayne 10-1. The Panthers defeated the Eagles 13-2 last year. The Panthers were slowly plodding throughout the contest and added a few goals in each quarter. Midfielder Sam Miller was named the Class C All Tournament MVP after a 3g-3a day (60% of all goals). Additionally, goalie Brandon Wayne finished with an exceptional day, recording 13 saves. Of those, 10 came in the first half while holding the Eagles scoreless during that period. Both seniors were instrumental in the success of the Panthers this season. STORY CONTINUES

After losses in the Championship games to Penfield (9-8) last season and Pittsford (9-5) two years ago, the Red Raiders were bent on getting their first Section Five Title since 2014. Fairport scored five goals in the second half while holding the Hilton offense scoreless to defeat the Cadets 9-4.
