Jon Gaglio Signs for Wheeling Jesuit
Jon Gaglio signed a national letter of intent as he plans to study and play at Wheeling Jesuit (West Virginia).
The McQuaid Jesuit senior goalie has a two-year record of 231 saves (51%) after posting a 53% season last year with 664 minutes in the goal. He was a first team All-League (GRALL) goalie in 2018.
Highlights for last season certainly must include a 71% save day in the Knights' win over Penn Yan, his 62% day in their win against Canandaigua and his 59% day in McQuaid's win against Archbishop Curley in April.
Wheeling Jesuit Head Coach Landon Delprince will start his fourth year at the helm after a four-year stint as a player for the Cardinals where he was one of the top scorers in program history. The Cardinals are a Division II team playing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
