Siena College received an end of the year gift as Penn Yan junior offensiveman, Sean Emersonannounced his commitment to the Saints after his graduation in 2016.

Jo inning the varsity as an eighth grader, Sean will enter his junior season this spring with a career record of 68g-47a after recording 43g-31a last season. His efforts earned him a spot on the second team All Section Five list.

Last fall his was named to the Inside Lacrosse UpState Invitational Tournament All Star Team and received accolades from Geoff Shannon. He also participated with the SweetLax Lacrosse Club.

Before selecting Siena, Sean considered Hobart, Rutgers and Albany.

Siena College is an NCAA Division I school returning this spring as the reigning champions of the MAAC with an 11-6 record under Head Coach John Svec. There are currently three players from Section Five on the roster which includes Joe Arcarese (Fairport), Justin Rehm (Penfield) and Dan McAvoy (Fairport).
