Another current freshman has announced his verbal commitment. Victor midfielder Andrew Russell announced his intent to study and play at Virginia after his graduation in 2018.

Playing for Sweetlax Lacrosse Club last summer, Andrew played in the adrenaline Platinum Cup, Big4, Young Guns and Sweetlax Invitational tournaments.

Before making his commitment to Virginia, Andrew considered Syracuse, Penn State and Johns Hopkins.
