Wednesday: Rangers over Warriors
Spencerport scored the first three goals of the contest on their way to an 18-6 win over Webster Schroeder. It was the only game scheduled in the section on the Wednesday of vacation week.

-- Spencerport scored the first three goals of the contest on their way to an 18-6 win over Webster Schroeder. The Rangers had eight different players make the scorebook with junior Matt Kaser leading the pack with 5g-3a. Midfielders Jeff Nitti (4g-1a) and Seth Miller (1g-3a) also made heavy contributions. Although Miller had significant offensive stats, his main contribution came at the face-off draw. He finished 21/26 (81%) with 12 ground balls (9 of which were off the draw). Midfielder Levi Basynnski finished with eight ground balls (4 off the wing line). In the cage for Spencerport, Tyler Schweikert finished with seven saves (54%).
For Schroeder, six players made the offensive book. Attackman Kenny Nelson finished with 1g-3a and midfielder Liam Wheatley finished with 1g-2a for the Warriors. Between the pipes, Willie Klan played the first three quarters and recorded nine saves. Robbie Wielandt finished out the game and recorded three saves.
The Rangers next game is tomorrow against Victor and the Warriors are playing against Pittsford on the 17th.
