Wednesday: Livonia and Mynderse Win
Livonia was a 12-5 winner over Gananda and Mynderse beat Midlakes 16-3 in evening games tonight.

-- Livonia defeated Gananda 12-5 after scoring seven of the last eight goals. Gananda kept the game close until midway through the third quarter when the Bulldogs scored six goals to end the third and start the fourth quarters.
Livonia started off strong, scoring the first three goals. In the first quarter, Kenny Lane and Cody Cisco scored (assists from Josh Wester and Jake Keller). The Bulldogs led 2-0 after the first quarter. Derek Bishopp scored the first of his five goals in the second quarter to increase the Livonia lead to 3-0. Gananda scored their first goal on an unassisted goal from Zach O`Connor. Two minutes later Steven Diener scored for Livonia to keep their three goal lead. Gananda added the last goal with 2:40 left in the first half with an unassisted goal from Zach Rink. The first half ended with Livonia leading 4-2.
In the third quarter, Gananda scored first to bring the game within one goal. Rink scored with 7:36 remaining (assisted by O'Connor). Livonia's Wyatt Struble scored next to keep Livonia ahead. With 4:38 remaining, Gananda brought the game within one goal for the second time with an unassisted goal from Kyler Friesner. Then Livonia really turned on the goals. They scored five goals in the final four minutes of the quarter. Bishopp scored four of the five goals with Wester adding the fifth. The Bulldogs led 10-4 after the third quarter.
In the final quarter, Livonia added two more goals. The first was an unassisted goal by Lane and the second was scored by Wester and assisted by Cisco. Rink added his third goal of the contest for Gananda. In the cage for Livonia, Ethan Jamison finished with 11 saves. For Gananda, Steven Fisher recorded 10 saves.

-- The Mynderse Academy Blue Devils scored four goals in the first quarter and then added two more in the second and then coasted to a 16-3 win over Midlakes in Finger Lakes action tonight at Seneca Falls.
Five Mynderse players had multiple points, topped by sophomore Aaron Peterman (3g-5a) and senior attackmen Mike Clark (4g-1a) and Brett Wood (2g-3a). Sophomore goalie Tim Trickler recorded 11 saves for Mynderse (5-5). The Blue Devils host Waterloo tomorrow.
Lucas Maslyn and Brandon Sauve each scored one goal and Sean Peck scored a goal and added an assist for Midlakes who host Marcus Whitman on Thursday.
