CA - Spencerport Game to Benefit Coach Mike Pane
The quarter final game today that has Spencerport traveling to Exhibition Field at Canandaigua, will be dedicated to Mike Pane. Mike is a 2004 graduate of Canandaigua Academy and Canandaigua Lacrosse and played at Binghamton University. He was an assistant varsity coach for the Braves last year for their state championship run and this year was the head JV coach at Gananda.
Mike is a great guy and relates well with the kids. He underwent brain surgery Wednesday and had a tumor removed. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike and the Pane family as he recovers," said Dan Knapton.
At Mike Pane Night Canandaigua will be collecting money to help the Pane family with the huge expenses they are about to face. Donations of any amount will be accepted at the concession stand and proceeds from the concession stand sales will be donated as well.
Checks can be made out to CASB – Boys Lacrosse (Memo: Mike Pane Fund). Donations by credit card have established the ability by clicking on Mike Pane Fund.
