Fairport rising junior Kyle McAvoy recently announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse for Siena College (Loudonville, New York) after his graduation in 2017.

McAvoy has played with the Red Raider Varsity for two years and has amassed 32g-18a in those two years. Last season he scored points in fourteen games, including a 3g-2a day against Webster Thomas. In his freshman year he was named to the Class A All-Tournament team.

In the off season, McAvoy has played for the Sweetlax Lacrosse Club playing in the Big 4, Sweetlax Invitational, Liberty Bell, FLG 3D Summer Shootout, Showtime and Sweetlax Uncommitted Showcase tournaments.

Before selecting Siena he considered Vermont, Marist, Bryant and Richmond.
