Rising junior defenseman, Tyler Olbrich recently announced his commitment to the United State Military Academy at West Point following his graduation from the Aquinas Institute in 2017.
The aggressive long stick, brought up to the Varsity as an eighth grader, was named to the GRALL first team Super Sixteen in both his freshman and sophomore years and was named to the Section Five Class C All Tournament Team last spring.
As a sophomore defenseman, he scored 5g-2a, picked up 98 ground balls and registered 42 take aways.
In the off season he was a Brine National All American as a freshman and plays for the Rochester Flyers under coach Rob Randall.
Before making his decision, he considered Hofstra, Binghamton, Towson, and Hobart.
