SportsFive is planning for the coverage of the 2008 Empire State Games in Binghamton in July, but sponsorships and donations will be needed in order for this project to go forward.

Over the last two years, SportsFive has provided extensive coverage of the four day tournament, with full game reports and statistics. (See the 2007 information on the 2007 ESG Page). The 2007 wrap-up analysis is available here.
  
This year the games are in Binghamton from July 23rd to July 29th. The decision to move forward must be made by the end of June. There are up to five advertising spots available for the games, and along with some healthy donations for the project, SportsFive can provide similar coverage for the 2008 tournament.
