Midlakes over Pal-Mac

In the only game played on Wednesday, Midlakes won their first game of the season with a 7-2 victory over visiting Pal-Mac.
  
Scoring for Midlakes were Conor Hogan (1g-1a), Glen Stevenson (3a), Tyler Brooks-Lambert (3g), Clay Hemminger (2g-1a) and Ben Uveges (1g). Senior goalie Jared Schoonerman recorded 15s/2ga (88%).
  
Scoring for Pal-Mac were Cody Clement (1g), Steve VanDeWalle (1a), Pete Barry (1g) and Jeremy Norsen (1a). Senior goalkeeper Jonathon Reeve made 13s/7ga (65%).
  
  Watertown IHC defeated HFL last night in a 12-6 game that was originally scheduled for Tuesday. The Cougars took a 1-0 lead early in the game and went into the half down 4-3.
  
The Cavaliers (2-0) scored 3 goals at the start of the second half to make it 7-3. HFL answered with 2 goals to cut it to 7-5 going into the 4th quarter. Matt Garvey led HF-L scorers with 2g and Pat Roache recorded and amazing 29 saves.
