DAY IN REVIEW: A five goal run in the fourth quarter gave Hilton (5-9) a win against host Brighton (6-7) tonight on Senior Night. Hilton took their first lead of the game with 6:12 remaining in the fourth quarter and held off Brighton’s attempt at a comeback to defeat the Barons 13-11. Brighton played three strong quarters before Hilton took over in the fourth. The Cadets scored five unanswered goals spanning just over 4 minutes in the final quarter to secure the win.

Pittsford and Fairport had three ties and until the last goals were never more than two goals apart. Pittsford scored the last two goals of the game in their 8-5 win over Fairport and the Panthers held the Red Raiders scoreless for the final 15 minutes of the contest. Colby Barker had five goals for the Panthers. TJ Hendricks (1g-1a) and Kyle McAvoy (2g) led the offense for the Red Raiders.

Newark won a one-goal-game from Midlakes with Parker Casselman score three goals for the Reds. Ryan Macdonell led the Midlakes offense with 2g-2a. The goalies had a good day with Reds goalie Talyn Pierce making 8 saves (57%) and Eagles goalie Zach Davison recording 10 saves (59%). In another close one, Gates Chili held off last advances from the Lightning for a 13-12 win at home. Jarrett Kirkpatrick scored 5g-2a for the Spartans and Adrian Romero led the Lightning with 6g.

Spencerport scored the first goal and although Eastridge tied the game twice, the Rangers never trailed in their 11-8 over the Lancers. One of the key factors in the Ranger win was their possession time. They controlled the pace of the game and that began at the faceoff. Owen VanWie finished 18/22 with a team leading 20 groundballs. Offensively, Spencerport was led in scoring by Jonathan Agness with 1g-6a. 

The Waterloo vs Bloomfield-Honeoye game was close in the first half, but the Indians scored three unanswered goals in the third and never trailed. Adam Jensen (3g-2a) and Toby Loucks (4g) led the list of seven on the Waterloo scorebook and Nick Costantino won 10 of 14 draws. George Williams was credited with 11 saves (61%) for the Indians. Tyler Joslyn led the Pride effort with five goals.

After being down 13-4 against Irondequoit after three quarters, Haverling scored a six goal run in the last quarter to make the score more respectable. Eight Irondequoit players made the book with Jack Brennan (3g-2a) leading the list. For the Rams, Connor DiDomineck (4g-2a) and Connor Cupp (4g-1a) were the scoring leaders. Rams goalie Trey Kinner making 14 saves (52%).

Also winning games were Pal-Mac, Livonia, HF-L, Wayne and Victor.
