DAY IN REVIEW: There were two games played in the Section on Wednesday. Brockport played a close game with Spencerport in the first half (7-4) but the Rangers took off in the second half behind the efforts of Mark Schnauber (4g-2a) and Jonathan Agness (3g-2a). Ryan Griffin played in the goal for most of the game for Spencerport and recorded 11s (69%). Owen Van Wie won 75% of his faceoffs and picked up 14gbs and senior Josh Griffin scored his first varsity goal. Jeremy Hopsicker (2g-2a) figured in all but one of Brockport's goals.
Haverling, likewise, played a close first half, but Aquinas scored nine unanswered goals for the home field win the GRALL action. Sophomore attackman Eli Chalmers was the offensive leader for AQ with 4g-1a and Evan Kelly added 2g-2a. Junior midfielder Cameron Cecere was the ground ball leader with 5 and Jordan Green won 18 of 19 face offs for the Little Irish. Haverling saw two goals from Connor Cupp and 1g-1a from Connor DiDomineck.
