Fairport senior long stick midfielder Will Shear has announced that he will move on to Mercyhurst North East University after his graduation next spring.

The three year varsity player for the Red Raiders considered Siena and Hofstra before choosing Mercyhurst North East.

The Saints are back in 2017 after taking three years off and now with West Genesee alumnus Eric Miccio at the helm. They will play in NJCAA Region 3 which also includes MCC and FLCC. 

Shear will be the first Section Five player to play on the new Saints team and plans on studying business.
