MARCUS WHITMAN-10 at WAYNE-12  - Wayne beat Marcus Whitman 12-10 Tuesday evening in a non-league game, moving to 8-5. Wayne led 6-0 after the first quarter before Marcus Whitman rallied to outscore the Eagles seven to six over the final three quarters, but couldn't complete the comeback.

Junior Shane Coleman led Wayne with six goals and three assists, while senior Tucker Eaton added one goal and four assists. Nick Caine contributed two goals and two assists, and Paxton Landon added two goals. Cody Crandell scored one.

For Marcus Whitman, Tariku Blueye led with five goals and an assist, while Ayden Clark added two goals and an assist. Cole Millian scored two goals and Fischer Sleeman added one goal and an assist. Cullen Kephart went 14 for 25 on faceoffs. In goal, Tyler Speers made seven saves on 19 shots over 48 minutes. Marcus Whitman falls to 6-5.

Wayne travels to Newark on Thursday. Marcus Whitman hosts L-A-G on Wednesday.
