Trumble's Three Goals Lead Waterloo

NEWARK-5 at WATERLOO-8  -  Waterloo beat Newark 8-5 Saturday morning in a non-league game, moving to 3-9. Four different Waterloo players scored, with Trevor Trumble having the standout offensive day.

Trumble led Waterloo with three goals, while Jaidyn Ellison and Gavin Jacobsen each added two goals. Kayden Zona scored one, and Walter Bennett distributed three assists. In goal, senior Dylan Acquilano made eight saves on 13 shots (62%) over 48 minutes.

For Newark, Evan Shulla and Kody Lund each scored two goals, and Hayden Bridger added one. In goal, senior John Camblin made 12 saves on 20 shots (60%) over 48 minutes. Newark falls to 1-13.

Waterloo travels to Livonia-Avon-Geneseo on Tuesday while Newark travels to Haverling .
