LIVONIA-AVON-GENESEO-10 at MIDLAKES-16  - Midlakes beat Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 16-10 Thursday evening in a non-league game, extending its winning streak to seven and moving to 8-3. Midlakes led 11-2 after two quarters before L-A-G scored eight of the final ten goals. L-A-G falls to 8-5.

Senior Nate Lathrop led Midlakes with three goals and five assists, while Walker Landschoot and Carter Casper each added three goals and an assist. Sam Kuhn and Miles Kornbau each scored two goals, Brendan Baldwin added two goals and an assist, and James Sprague contributed one goal and two assists. In goal, senior Stuart Quku made 11 saves on 18 shots (61%) over 44 minutes.

For L-A-G, eighth grader Stavros Kolokouris led with four goals and an assist, while Rider VanZandt added three goals and two assists. VanZandt went 19 for 26 on faceoffs. Will Schweitzer, Connor Duryea and Jack Ackerman each scored one goal. In goal, senior Ayden Szymanski made 16 saves on 32 shots (50%) over 48 minutes.

Midlakes hosts Jordan-Elbridge on Saturday. L-A-G hosts Waterloo on Tuesday evening.
