Pittsford Get Another Win
SCHROEDER-3 at PITTSFORD-16 - Pittsford beat Schroeder 16-3 Tuesday evening in a Monroe County D-2 game, staying perfect at 13-0. Nine different Sutherlands scored, and the night featured three first career varsity scores: senior Doug Blalock scored his first career varsity goal, while junior Max Erskine and sophomore Kieran Savage each recorded their first career varsity assist. Peter Roussell and Keegan Jacob combined to go 20 for 20 on faceoffs.
Grant Lewis led Pittsford with four goals and two assists, while Cole Goetz added two goals and four assists. Luke Jutzin, Max Morgenstern and Ben Zombek each scored two goals, and Avery Valenti, Jack Healy, Jahyden Maiorani and Blalock each added one. In goal, freshman Bear Wehrheim was perfect with one save over 20 minutes.
For Schroeder, Brady Mason scored two goals and added an assist, and JD Stockmann added one goal. In goal, Ben Cashman made nine saves on 25 shots over 48 minutes. Schroeder falls to 2-12.
Pittsford hosts JD on Saturday and Schroeder travels to Geneva.
