Olvany`s Five Goals Lead Canandaigua

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-0 at CANANDAIGUA-16  - Canandaigua beat Churchville-Chili 16-0 Tuesday evening in a Monroe County D-3 game, moving to 6-7. Nine different Braves found the net, and junior Peyton Fritz reached 200 career faceoff wins, finishing 10 for 13 on the night.

Senior Patrick Olvany led Canandaigua with five goals and two assists, while junior Kyle Farrington added three goals. AJ Sterman contributed one goal and three assists, and Joel Lloyd scored two goals. Ryan McKeegan, Zach Hoffman, Shane Cooke, Tate York and Christian Schuessler each added one goal. In goal, senior Quentin Shedrick was perfect with four saves over 30 minutes, and junior Lucas Wyand added one save over 18 minutes.

Churchville-Chili generated 13 shots but was held off the board, with Jaxon Leonard taking seven shots and Isaac Bailey two. Churchville-Chili falls to 5-7.

Canandaigua travels to Orchard Park on Saturday. Churchville-Chili hosts Thomas on Thursday.
