MARCUS WHITMAN-17 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-2 - Marcus Whitman picked up a 17-2 win at Mynderse-Romulus on Tuesday afternoon, scoring five goals in the first quarter and seven more in the third to pull away. The Wildcats improve to 2-0 on the season.

For Marcus Whitman (2-0), senior Tariku Blueye led with seven goals and four assists, while sophomore Fischer Sleeman added three goals and two assists and junior Cole Millian contributed three goals. Freshman Colby Hunt chipped in two goals and two assists, and senior Ayden Clark added one goal and two assists. Senior Cullen Kephart went 11-for-17 at the faceoff dot (65%) and sophomore Brady Freida added three wins in five attempts (60%). Senior Tyler Speers stopped 11 shots for a 92% save percentage in 36 minutes, and sophomore Joel McFarland added two saves for 67% in 12 minutes.

For Mynderse-Romulus (0-2), junior Hunter Kurdziolek scored both goals.
